CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) therapy is still the most commonly prescribed method of treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. A CPAP machine works by delivering a prescribed amount of air pressure through a comfortably fit mask worn during sleep. This slight pressure works to keep the patients airway from collapsing, thus leading to a more restful and healthier night’s sleep. At our sleep center we can setup patients on CPAP and continue providing their ongoing supplies right there in the office.
